The Service: Guiding and supporting couples and families within the community to live according to Christian values. They provide a platform for families to grow together in faith and love.
The Tamil Family Ministry is dedicated to strengthening the “domestic church” within the SMTC. Comprised of couples who lead by example, this ministry provides a support network for families navigating the unique challenges of life in the diaspora. By fostering a culture of Christ-centered marriage and parenting, they ensure that the foundation of our community remains strong and faithful.
This ministry often organizes sessions and fellowship events specifically for couples, helping them to renew their marriage vows and deepen their spiritual connection. They serve as a resource for young families, offering wisdom and support on how to raise children in the faith while balancing the pressures of work and school. Their goal is to ensure that every home in the SMTC is a sanctuary of love and prayer.
The Family Ministry also plays a role in identifying families in need of special pastoral care or intercessory prayer. By maintaining close relationships with the members of the community, they ensure that no family feels isolated or unsupported. They are the heart of the SMTC, reminding us all that the strength of our community depends on the strength of our families.
