The Service: Leading the congregation in worship through liturgical music and hymns. As the official choir of the SMTC, they provide musical accompaniment for all community Masses and represent the Tamil community at various Parish events.
The Oilchudar Choir gives voice to the devotion of our community, blending traditional melodies with contemporary worship to elevate our liturgical experience. Their harmony reflects the unity of the SMTC, creating an environment where the faithful can lift their hearts to God through song. Their commitment involves rigorous practice sessions to ensure that the music is always a worthy offering to the Lord.
Beyond our community gatherings, the choir serves as musical ambassadors, showcasing the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the Tamil faithful during diverse Parish programs. Whether it is a Carol competition or a multi-lingual Parish feast, Oilchudar represents the SMTC with professional vocal quality and a spirit of joyful service.
