The Audio Ministry ensures that the Word of God resonates throughout the Tamil community. Facing the weekly challenge of adapting to different venues with varying acoustics, this team works diligently behind the scenes to provide crystal-clear audio. Their technical expertise ensures that the priest’s homily, the readings, and the choir’s hymns reach every corner of the hall, making a full liturgical experience possible.
This ministry is one of technical precision and early-morning commitment. They arrive at the venue hours early to test microphones, balance the choir’s sound, and troubleshoot any potential issues. Their goal is to make the technology invisible so that the congregation can focus entirely on the spiritual message. This requires a deep understanding of sound engineering and a patience for the unexpected challenges of mobile setups.
Their service is vital for every single Mass and program the SMTC conducts. By maintaining and managing the community’s audio equipment, they save the community from the need for external technical services.
